Dr.

Ambedkar Institute of Technology

Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology (Dr AIT) was established in the year 1980 by
Panchajanya Vidyapheeta Welfare Trust (PVPWT), Bangalore. PVPWT is found by Late Sri.
M.H.Jayaprakash Narayan. The Institution was started with three AICTE approved
undergraduate (UG) programmes in Departments of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE). Later UG programmes in Electronics and
Communication Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Instrumentation
Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Information
Science and Engineering and Medical Electronics, were also inducted. In addition, the institution
currently also holds 14 research centres recognised by Visvesvaraya Technological University
(VTU), Belagavi. This year (2016-17), the college has grown manifold with a total student intake
of 1285 pursuing courses in ten undergraduate, eight postgraduate programmes (PG) of
engineering and the PG Programmes, MBA, MCA and MSc (Engg.) by Research/Doctoral
Programmes.

The Institution is aided by Government of Karnataka, approved by All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to VTU, Belagavi. The college was granted with
Autonomous Status by UGC during 2007 and the college implemented the same during 2010 -11
academic year. The Institute has ISO 9001:2008 certification and all departments are accredited
by NBA, New Delhi.

Department of Computer Science Engineering

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in the year
1987.The Department has got accreditation by NBA. Certified by ISO 9001: 2008.
The Department is running UG, PG and R&D Centre.
The Department is Headed by Dr Siddaraju M.E., Ph.D., MIEEE. Department has been
allocated 1.2crores under TEQIP Phase-II for the development of PG & Research
activities.
Department has a CSI Student chapter under which the Department is conducting many
technical seminars/workshops, Quiz competitions and other technical activities for the
benefit of faculty, staff and students.
About Interrupt 6.0

Interrupt 6.0 is the official Techno-cultural fest organised by the Department of Computer
Science & Engineering, Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bangalore. The Interrupt fest
has been organised every year since 2012. The fest being an Intercollege Techno-cultural
fest has been running successfully with large participation from various engineering college
students from RVCE, BMSCE, MSRIT etc. The fest is named to be Interrupt 6.0 for the year
2017 indicating that the fest is being organized since 6 years. The fest will include the
following set of events:

Mention of the company logo on the banners and poster of Interrupt 6.0.

A special banner consisting of the logo of the associate sponsors of the entry of the
venue.

Banner, standees (as provided by the company)

Logo on participant certificate provided to the participants and the schedule of every
individual event.

Promotional event for the company during Interrupt 6.0.

Promotion during Interrupt 6.0 week.

MC announcements during opening and valedictory ceremony of all festivals.

One stall of the size 5*5 will be provided to display the company products.

Video ads of the company on LED screen during breaks only.

Any other benefit that company seeks in the negotiation meeting.

Note: Majority of these benefits are subject to change based on the negotiation meeting.
Considering the nature of the company and the advertising opportunity that we can provide,
consensus will be achieved
Individual event sponsor Benefits:

Mention by event heads of the respective events.

Logo of the company will be printed on fest schedule, every printed copy of round details,
judges score sheets and answer sheets, all digital content related to that event and
winners certificate of that particular event.

Posters of the company will be displayed in the premises where the event will be held.

Sponsors can also gift the participants with the gifts of their choice as a token of
appreciation.

Mention by the MC on the stage during the opening and valedictory ceremony.

Other sponsors

Purely based on negotiation meeting.

Would require a minimum amount of Rs.5,000 as sponsorship.

Includes:

Terms and conditions

Promotional objects like pamphlets, standees, cloth banners and videos are to be
brought in by the company one hour prior to the event.

Payments can be made via Cheque/Cash/Net banking. A receipt for the payment will
be duly signed/stamped by the college and given.

Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Dr. AIT will not be held liable for
any accidents that may cause damage to articles or promotional objects brought to
the venue.

Basic set up of the stall will be done by us, other special decorations if any should be
done by the company before 30 mins of the opening ceremony of the Interrupt fest.

The Co-ordinators team would be present to help in setting up of the stalls.

TDS (if any) to be deducted at the time of issuing the cheque.


All details of the sponsorship agreement will be duly signed and stamped by the
company representative and a representative from the Interrupt 6.0 corporate
relations team.

Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Dr. AIT disciplinary committee


reserves the right to put an end to any marketing activity in campus that may cause
any harm/damage, and put a stop to anything that is obscene and vulgar in nature

Venue security staff too need to give appropriate permissions to put decorations on
the walls of the venue. These details will be confirmed only a week prior to the fest.

Sponsorship details of one company will not be shared with an other company.

The festival goes on for 2 days (March 3rd & 4th) held at the college campus.
