The
fact that
we all want

concepts of what the word success

is. I personally always asked myself:

A while ago I made a decision to feel successful, uncondition-

the answer I understand that it is much simpler than I ever imagined. The
main reason why we want what we want, is simply to feel good.

My first step was to stop focusing on friends, family, colleagues or other people telling me
how I needed to succeed. Of course, they mean well and their opinion is very important,

Nowadays packing your luggage may be easier than ever before.

Those times where you had to think of every match, for every
single day are over. Timeless is the new chic and today this
concept has overtaken the styles of both men and women.

Metallics &
Velvet
We just need to have a look at the Street Style and major fashion shows,
to realize that metallic colors and velvet are the ultimate trend. While
those colors and textures used to be associated with special or luxury
events, nowadays they represent boldness and elegance in its maximum
expression. Silver and Gold the shiner the better!

When it comes to discovering the perfect match between food and drink,
the options are endless. Of course, finding the right balance requires talent,
skills and the ability to be beyond creative. The matter is to be able to play
the visual, with the relationship between aromas and flavors, offering the
client a great experience. The context in which this experience happens is
not less important. Leonid Chechelnitskiy a young Catalan entrepreneur
who embraces his Russian roots - has had all his young life to learn that.
Ever since Leo was five years old, he has been involved in the hospitality
business, at the tapas bar that his parents opened next to Gaudis iconic

economic and social needs of the system, so that in the long term, it can
be self-regulated and maintained in a dynamic balance through minimal
interference. The practice thus seeks to consciously overcome the still
predominant, linear and causal process, whose destructive consequences
we are attending today.

Ton Rimbau is from Peneds, a wine region of Catalonia with excel-

lent Denomination of Origin (D.O) wines. Its landscape is an oasis to
indulge the five senses; a mosaic of wine, cava and history... To get lost
in the calm of the roads that plait the vineyards of the Peneds, it is
definitely a unique experience in connection with nature. The landscape
is revealed as images of a large garden, where the grapes that will travel
the world are born. These images are works of art of the wine culture.

Ton has been growing wines since 2000, and in 2005 he decided to ap-
ply perma-viticulture as combined with some biodynamic practices. The
vineyards function like a forest, with minimal intervention. In order to
avoid possible contamination by the products used in adjacent traditional
growing areas, Ton leaves clear at least two rows of grape plants around the
outline of his land. This ensures that chemical products not suitable for
the production of organic crops - dont affect the production of his wines. Today, Ton Rimbau and his work are celebrated in Michelin Star restau-

Swarovski Crystal Worlds has set itself the task of not only feeding the minds
and feelings of visitors by its brilliant collection but also creating a delicious
space for true gourmets. Daniels Kristallwelten offers a taste of international
cuisine, regional specialties, seasonal delights, and especially confectionery
products. Chic atmosphere surrounds gently curved architectural columns,
bright surfaces, materials, inlaid with Swarovski crystals, and almost pan-
oramic view of the park.

The third part of Snohetta work was the new entrance to the companys pre-
viously existing store and moreover to the multimedia installation. Kilome-
ters of glowing wires are formed in a spiral structure, making an interactive,
visually expanding tunnel.

The new Swarovski Crystal Worlds Store was designed by architects from
s_o_s Architekten to bring together and offer numerous Swarovski prod-
uct lines. Particularly notable in this space are dome and columns, deco-
rated with the famous Italian Bisazza mosaic. The dome was fastly getting
a name of Starry mosaic sky.

The second project of this brand new Swarovski crystal worlds complex - the
entrance pavilion - became surprisingly minimalistic but beautiful from all
points of view. Its design comes from the CAO PERROT master plan based
on the idea of the white woods structure. As a result, the concrete roof
of the pavilion with the size of 1800 square meters is located just over the
white birch forest. Located here are also the souvenir shop, toilets, and staff
room. Three materials (glass, wood, and concrete) were used in this project
on purpose, so it does not compete with the new sights of the Crystal
Worlds. Thats why the entrance structure is clear and simple.

The last architectural firm, which, as mentioned earlier, has been developing
an updated master plan for the complex, CAO PERROT, was also creating an
impressive installation titled Crystal cloud in the park. It covers an area of
1,400 square meters and consists of over 800,000 Swarovski crystals in three
different sizes (the purpose was to make the clouds shinier). Mounted by hand,
all crystals included in the composition of the installation are floating in the air
above the artificial pool which in the magical world is named Mirror pool.

Swarovski Crystal Worlds is also a rare beauty garden with more than 72,000
flower bulbs in the Giants garden. It is a place that, without any doubt,
is worth to visit. People of all ages, professions, and interests can enjoy this
creation. It is essential to underline that in the whole complex barrier-free
solutions were implemented.

The complex was becoming, like Swarovski crystals, multi-sided, thanks to

the excellent experts team who worked on its development. In addition to
beautiful architecture, installations, landscape and compositions, safe and
exciting playgrounds, crystals, success stories and incredible exhibitions,
two very important things are significant: family spirit and magic, created,
however by many years of hard work.

I. Bridge
Like many places in New York City, getting to artist Miya Andos studio
requires the crossing of a bridge. With a semi-industrial enclave bustling
with old factory buildings and new residential development, Long Island
City sits just east of Manhattan. Nearby, elevated subway tracks clatter
with trains heading to Queens or back to one of the worlds most famous
islands. The rows of old, cookie-cutter edifices adorned with impressive
street art murals echo with chilly pre-winter winds like Nordic fjords.

Cloistered in one of these gray boxes, Miya works in a spacious two-room,

second-floor studio. A prolific artist, she receives supplies nearly every day.
In the smaller anteroom, she stores supplies or greets the occasional visitor.
But in the second room - thats where Miya gets to be Miya.

The pungent whiff of chemicals, burning metal or paint particulates,

announces the welcoming studio. Miya greets me with a hug (weve
known each other for years), then moves about purposefully, creating
a hospitable spot for a conversation. Creating is what she does best.

Though well-known to me and some in the art world, Miya Ando may
soon need no introduction to anyone. Around five and a half feet tall, the

ugatti celebrated a world premiere at The Geneva International Motor

Show. During this event, the French luxury brand unveiled the Bugatti Chiron,
the most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and most exclusively produced super
sports car in the world. Launched to the market months after, in autumn 2016,
this luxury vehicle is now available for the most exquisite and demanding clients.
The Chiron is the latest generation of the ultimate super sports car as well as completely new
development. The sports car manufacturer from Molsheim, with its long tradition, has taken
the unique features of a modern Bugatti to a new level and developed a high-performance
machine that has become significantly better in every respect. The Chiron counts on a power
output of 1,500 HP - unprecedented for production vehicles - an exceptionally high torque
value of 1,600 Nm between 2,000 and 6,000 rpm and a wide variety of technical innovations.
The Chiron is therefore very well-positioned to become the next world speed record holder
and reach a maximum speed significantly above the record currently held by Bugatti. The
manufacturer has limited the maximum speed of the new car to 420 km/h for road use.
Considering that only 500 of these exceptional cars are produced, advance orders have been
received for one third of the total production run right after its premier. The first vehicle
was already delivered to a customer in autumn 2016. For those considering acquiring the
Chiron, the price starts at 2.4 ($2.5) million net.
As the result of the legendary and unique eight liter W16 engine that has been newly
developed by Bugatti, the Chiron is the worlds first super sports car to bring such a high
power and torque onto the road with tremendous effectiveness, extremely high safety levels
and unprecedented comfort. In combination with the four new, larger turbochargers that
are controlled by the Bugatti two-stage turbocharging and a large number of other technical
refinements and innovations, maximum performance is available constantly and can be easily
controlled at all speeds. With the new carbon fiber monocoque, a newly designed adaptive
chassis, tires developed especially for Bugatti, the Chiron is not only a champion in terms of
maximum acceleration but is, for the first time, also an agile, modern Bugatti with handling
that ensures maximum driving pleasure.
The Chiron is the most modern interpretation of Bugattis brand DNA. It embodies the
new design language of the luxury brand with its long tradition. The styling accentuates
the performance aspect of the super sports car much more strongly. The motto adopted
by the Bugatti designers for the Chiron was Form follows Performance. As a result, the
Chiron combines significantly more beast with a very high level of beauty. The designers
have succeeded in reinterpreting Bugattis gene with its distinctive features in a modern
3 BUGATTI manifestation at the same time as adding new features resulting from the
technical demands of even higher performance. The Chiron remains unmistakably a Bugatti.

There is no area where we have not

In addition, The Chiron is higher and wider than its predecessor, which
allows for more space, especially in the footwell, and improved ergo-
nomics. The wider front end of the vehicle is highlighted by the new
eight-eye face. Apart from the lamp housings, the front end features
a highly effective air inlet for the cooling of the front wheels and brakes
and therefore performs an important aerodynamic function.

Macaron, is a real gem. This symbol is a completely new design which
is one third larger than its predecessor. The new emblem is a 3-D design
creating the effect of letters hovering over the red enamel. This decora-
tive component can only be produced by a handcrafting process that
is extremely complex and time-consuming. Ettore Bugatti, whose mot-
to was nothing is too beautiful and nothing is too expensive, would
certainly have taken pleasure in this example of sheer craftsmanship.

It is part of human nature to cross boundaries and set new

records to run 100 m faster than ever before, to fly even further
into space and to enter new realms. This striving is also our driving
force at Bugatti, - Wolfgang Drheimer, President of Bugatti
Automobiles S.A.S.

Interior

The interior reflects the stylistic themes of the exterior including the central fin inspired
by the Bugatti Atlantic. This approach ensures a symmetrical layout in the interior.
At the same time, the design theme of the Bugatti line is expressed most strongly in
the interior of the vehicle. The open oval based on a stylized C, the initial of Louis
Chirons signature, is already a dominant element in the side view of the super sports
car and is also taken up in the passenger compartment as a separating line between the
symmetrical units for the driver and passenger.

The selector for the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox is located in the perfect ergonomic
position within easy reach of the drivers hand. It is produced from the most exclusive
materials available as Bugatti is the only carmaker to use anodized aluminium for its
controls and to ensure that each individual graphic symbol is illuminated.

Bugatti pilots have all the driving dynamics information they need within their field
of vision. The instruments visible through the steering wheel with its central horseshoe
emblem include the analogue speedometer, the two supplementary digital displays,
with the mechanical speed indicator standing out as a result of its exclusive quality.
The speedometer runs up to the magic figure of 500 km/h (310 mph) and is a feast for
the eyes with the exclusive appearance of a precious Swiss watch.

The steering wheel is a classic example of the perfect combination of form and func-
tion. With an entirely new design, the steering wheel is the pilots control center.
Two multifunction buttons installed on the left and right sides of the inner rim allow
the driver to control all the multimedia features of the car along with many other func-
tions. At the bottom of the wheel, the driver finds a button to activate the launch con-
trol function, allowing the Chiron to deploy maximum torque for standing starts and
acceleration, leaving all other vehicles behind. The engineers have even created special
stowage spaces for the two ignition keys. The main key for the operation of the super
sports car in driving modes up to a speed of 380 km/h has a keyless go function and
locks into a position to the right of the steering wheel in order to ensure safe stowage
even during very sportive driving.

Bugatti is following the wishes of its customers by making very generous use of high-
grade carbon fiber material in the interior of the vehicle. The perfectly harmonized
material split between leather and carbon fiber creates a luxurious environment com-
mensurate with a technically sophisticated super sports car, every interior is tailor-made
for the individual customer and hand-crafted.

A good seating position and optimum seat comfort are especially important in a super
sports car. Three types of seat are available for the Chiron. The standard version boasts
outstanding seating comfort thanks to its sophisticated upholstery, special seam pattern
and the optimum distribution of seat pressure.

When it comes to choosing the right aircraft, small and medium sized

which can fly for up to 4 hours.
Regarding larger aircraft, Bombardiers Global range, and Gulfstreams

Click Home Growing Revolution

& Grow
G o
For Your Body And Soul
Nowadays, many of us have busy lives and not as much time for ourselves.
The busier we get, the more we call for a break. In that sense, finding an activ-
ity that requires just a few minutes a day, and as much focus and excitement
as we want to give may sound like a mission impossible. It feels overwhelm-
ing, yet everything has a bright side. As a matter of fact, our ultimate goal in
everything that we do and want, is just to feel good, isnt it?!

Also, there is a rise of consciousness regarding the food we want to put in our
bodies. The culture of organic and non-GMO products became a worldwide
trend. In that context, there are some innovative and engaging gadgets such
as Clik & Grow that tackle the subject of an effortless activity of growing
your garden, while providing you with fresh aliments. Click & Grow special-
izes in indoor food production units for urban homes and industries. Their
Smart Gardens and Farms are completely self-sustainable as they water plants
automatically and make sure the plants always have enough light, oxygen,
and nutrients while not using any fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides.

As Mattias Lepp Founder of Click & Grows said: The coolest thing was to
see how children, parents and busy entrepreneurs would lean over their Click
& Grow every five minutes to check for sprouts: these people experienced pure
excitement and joy.

With this genius idea, anyone can grow clean and fresh food in their homes
now. But what makes it attractive is its holistic approach, which Lepp ex-
presses very well:

If we compare Click & Grow to a product, activity or phenomenon, the first

thing we envision is a bonsai: you embark on a journey with this plant and get
the sense of responsibility and balance as you watch it grow. Zen. What matters
with the bonsai is not how you shape and alter the plant, but how it changes and
alters you. It causes you to weigh decisions, seek solutions, and learn about things
and yourself.

This is what Click & Grow is about - seeking progress, change and solutions to
different plant cultivation problems, so you dont have to. Join the revolution with
Click & Grow and just watch your plants grow!

Smart Herb Garden

The Smart Herb Garden takes the guesswork out of growing plants
with a nanotech growing material (aka the Smart Soil) that is engi-
neered to supply the plants with the exact right amount of oxygen,
water and nutrients to make them thrive. No pesticides, fungicides,
hormones or any other kind of harmful substances are used in any
of Click & Grows fresh homegrown herbs and fruits. The Smart
Soil releases nutrients in sync with the plant life cycle, keeps soil
pH balanced, and employs tiny oxygen pockets to guarantee plants
get ample breathing room and nutrients even when the soil is wet.
The Smart Gardens adjustable LED lamp furnishes plants with an
enhanced light spectrum that spurs growth, while in-unit sensors
constantly monitor garden vitals attend to plants need for light,
water, and nutrients.

The Click & Grow Wall

Farm is the first ever truly
affordable indoor food
production unit.
The new Click & Grow Wall Farm is a plant production unit that grows
fresh herbs, fruits, and leafy greens all year round and hyper-locally. It can
easily be integrated into every home, restaurant, school and grocery store.
The Wall Farm line features two products in two sizes: The Wall Farm and
The Wall Farm Mini.

It was designed to keep the energy consumption low while optimizing

plant growth and nutrient levels in the food. It grows plants faster than
traditional agricultural practices while not using any pesticides, fungicides
or poisonous fertilizers. This means you can grow salads (and many other
plants) containing 600% more vitamins in your home knowing how ex-
actly, where and when the food you consume was produced. Additionally,
you dont need to worry about watering or the plant not getting enough
light and oxygen - the Wall Farm takes care of it all. All you have to do is
plug it in, insert the plant capsules and watch your food grow.

Preface. Her Truth

nce upon a time a girl named Mara

Concepcin Balboa Buika, was born on the
Spanish island of Mallorca, surrounded by the
Mediterranean Sea. Her parents, political exiles
from Equatorial Guinea, a former Spanish colony
with one of the most repressive regimes in Africa,
hid on the island while running from that oppression. She grew up in-
fluenced by the Gypsies in the barrio where her family lived, being the
only family there of African origin. They sang African tunes at home; her
mother had an entire wall filled with jazz records; she was immersed in the
flamenco sound from the street. The fact that shed always been the only
black girl wherever shed have gone had given her a sense of who she really
was, and when her voice was criticized at the church where she used to
sing, she understood that she was the only one in charge of her life, and
decided to always follow her heart. Now, Buika delights us not only with
her extraordinary voice, but also with the power with which she engages
her tribu on stage, and the inspiring story that exposes who she really is.
Her songs are like prayer, a naked conversation with the angels where she
is herself completely. Her courage inspires her to love more deeply and
to express Her Truth, both as a person and an artist, through her pow-
erful voice, poems, songwriting, compositions and very presence. She
wants you to resonate with her art freely; as she puts it, use it to connect
with your own little secrets. Her latest album Vivir Sin Miedo (Living
Without Fear) is like an open book, in which both you and her are the
protagonists, each song a Chapter, and the following, the Story.

This is an inspiring story about

a young musician, Tony Succar and
his creation of a dream into reality.

U
NITY: THE LATIN TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL JACKSON
is a testament to the power of music and one mans indomitable spirit.
The passion project of Peruvian-born, Miami-raised producer/
multi-instrumentalist/arranger Tony Succar, Unity features more than
100 musicians, such Latin superstars as Tito Nieves, Jon Secadaand
Obie Bermdez, and the mixing magic of Jacksons legendary engineer
Bruce Swedien in the fi rst ever Latin album salute to Th e King of Pop.

Fueled by his relentless commitment, quiet determination and passionate faith in

the loving message behind much of Jacksons music, Succar has spent the last four
years carefully creating Unity: The Latin Tribute To Michael Jackson. He overcame
seemingly insurmountable obstacles, turning each roadblock into a stepping stone
to take the project to new heights. In the process, he married Jacksons timeless
pop and R&B tunes, such as Thriller, Billie Jean, and I Want You Back,
to his glorious salsa and tropical rhythms, creating innovative, vibrant arrange-
ments that snap to life with exhilarating energy.

American funk, soul, jazz all those styles that were influencing Michael were
inspired by African music, Succar says. Same with Afro-Peruvian music, Cuban
music. These songs were meant to be. Their original flavor lends itself to these Latin
rhythms.

Succar grew up listening to his parents play Jacksons music, and by 13 had begun
his own music career. He started on piano and segued to percussion, graduating
with a degree in jazz performance at Florida International University in 2008.
But it wasnt until after the superstars untimely passing in 2009 that Succar, who
earned his Masters in jazz performance from FIU in 2010, took a deep dive into
the music and the man.

Thats when I became a fanatic, memorizing all his lyrics, he says. He was an

As Succar pored through Jacksons material, revisiting songs like Man In the Mir-
ror, Earth Song and They Dont Care About Us all of which are reimagined
on Unity he came to a realization:

Michael wasnt only a musician, he was a spiritual person. He was speaking

to peoples hearts through his music. He was a true role model and leader, not
only in the music industry but life in general, he says.

Concurrent with his discovery, Succar arranged and his band performed Where there once was nothing but a dream,

overwhelmingly positive that Succar recorded a version in his bedroom
with his band, posted it online and gave away copies. DJs started playing
the track and Succar began getting requests from around the world for
a full album of Latin-flavored Jackson songs.

That sparked it, Succar says. I was such a fan. I felt like I had to do
something.

ideal of Unity was born. If it werent for Tito, I would never have been able to develop this into what
it is, Succar says. He really opened the doors for me.

I
Its been 21 years since British Entrepre-
neur Nick Jones founded the first House
in Londons Soho. Opposite to the out-
dated concept of an elite gentlemans
club, his aim was to create a place where
all type of individuals from the creative
industries could gather in a relaxed and pleasant en-
vironment. His loyalty to such concept throughout
these years and 18 international openings has made
Soho House into one of the most successful, reputed
and desired private clubs in the world.

Far from snobbish, stuffy or corporate oriented, the

team of Soho House promotes an environment of
proximity with the client. We address our mem-
bers by their first name, and that makes the dif-
ference- says Cristina Rdenas, Communications
Manager at Soho House Barcelona. The profile of
our team is also different compared to other pro-
fessionals from the same field. Like our members,
we have an interest in the creative industries too,
and that makes the interaction with the clients nat-
ural and enriching - adds Richard van Batenburg,
General Manager at Soho House Barcelona.

Beyond pre-established concepts, at Soho House

the luxury resides on making the members feel
like at home, providing authentic experiences in
a comfortable and private setting. We dont care
about wealth or fame; we treat all our members
equally. This is an incentive for people to become
a member says Richard. In fact, several years
ago they started a program called Under 27,
in which theyfacilitate access of young talents to
the club. That way, these fellows have the oppor-
tunity to interact with other successful individuals
who may help them open new horizons for their
career - whatever creative industry they are in.

Being a member of Soho House means much

more than just having the access to the club area.
Members of Soho House find themselves in an
atmosphere where they can share common inter-
ests with other members while enjoying the wide
offer of cultural events that the club offers on
a daily basis: from wine tastings and cooking mas-
ter classes to photography workshops and book
launches. Moreover, the club counts on a cozy
and stylish private cinema featuring a varied pro-
gram of advance screenings and new releases.

In fact, dont be surprised if as a member you end

up spending more time here than in your home.
Soho counts on a wide list of activities in addi-
tion to its cultural offer. Come in the morning
and work a while in the club area.

views of the marina and the city. Get together with
other members or friends over a meal with a lus-

the specialized gym including yoga and spinning
classes. Feeling like connecting with your soul?
Indulge yourself at the Cowshed Spa - an oasis for
relaxation located in the building underground -
where you will also find a wide variety of home-
made organic cosmetics products for men and
women. Fresh and rejuvenated, attend one of the
cultural events and finish the day with a delicious
cocktail at the Speakeasy, probably the best-kept
secret in the whole club.

Not surprisingly, a unique concept of Soho House

where quality prevails over everything - is also
translated to the conception of the space. Soho
counts on a team of architects and designers who
take care of the design process from beginning
to end. The team designed most of the furniture
along with the expertise of local craftsman. Mean-
while, exclusively selected vintage pieces coexist in
harmony with the architectural elements, whose
design is inspired by the Catalan heritage and
blended with the style of this 18th-century town-
house at Plaa del Duc de Medinacelli, right in
the heart of the city.

Whether a member or not, visitors looking for

a distinctive experience can also enjoy some of
the additional services that Soho House Barcelo-
na provides. Think of 57 perfectly designed and
equipped rooms, where guests have the opportuni-
ty to live and wander like a member. Or a modern,
classic-infused restaurant offering specialties with
a Mediterranean touch. Its open kitchen, where
the client can interact with the cooks, is a clear
expression of the warm relationship that the club
has with its clients. Indeed, worldwide known Ital-
ian restaurant Cecconis is by itself the place to be,
particularly at brunch time on Sundays, during
the Sunday Feast. And what to say about Chicken
Shop Dirty Burger? Just a few meters away from
the main building you find this haven for burger
lovers, not to mention the chicken which is said to
be a real addiction for your senses.

After 17 openings around the world, Barcelona

was undeniably the best next destination for Soho
House. The citys international nature, the archi-
tectural richness, the love of people for good design
and the spirit of the avant-garde, create the perfect
synergy between a city and a club that both em-
brace and promote creativity and culture as a key
element for social and economic progress. www.sandrafreckled.com | info@sandrafreckled.com | Barcelona | +34692707695

High risk, high return thats the motto which most successful investors
are known for. Think of stocks, high-tech start-ups, oil and other commod-
ities. If your financial horizon is rather something that you project as secure
for your retirement, then investing in real estate is something for you. You
just need to look at successful individuals from a wide range of sectors, and
you will realize that a large portion of their wealth is allocated in the property.

When looking deeper into this asset class, you can see many dreams built
in New York. Property around the world is increasing in value, and this city
stands out as one of the best places considering its global nature. Whether
you have knowledge about this topic or not, this interview with Ryan Serhant

so when they are in Barcelona we are a haven to put their bodies back together. Sitting at a computer,
on planes and carrying heavy bags takes a toll on the body. Hence, shoulder and neck pain are com-
mon, as well as back pain, due to a muscle called the psoas that attaches from your pelvis to your lumbar
spine and that often causes back pain when its tight. Pilates allows us to release all the muscles of the body,
exercise the core abdominals to support the spine and correct postural problems. We like to compare Pilates
to the mechanic for the bodies.
Working with both mats and big equipment, every new client is inducted with a personal 1.5 hour private
session, during which Natalia does a postural assessment on the body, discusses the personal background and
introduces the client to her method. From this point, we tailor a program to meet the clients needs.
We are especially well-known for treating people who are suffering with spinal injury such as herniated discs or who
have had corrective surgery. Over many years Natalia has developed her own treatment plan for these conditions
and has a high success rate for getting people out of pain in just a few sessions.
In addition, Pilates is one of the best forms of exercise for pregnant women. Most of them want to make sure their
bodies stay in shape during their pregnancy, and a Pilates trained body bounces back much quicker afterwards.
Moreover, this method prepares the pelvic floor muscles for birth. For pregnant women it is absolutely safe and for us
a very fulfilling experience. Its such a special moment when we get to meet the babies as they recognize our voices
after a nine month period working with their mothers!
Quite a distinctive activity is Barre Pilates, for the cardio junkies. This session is a full hour high intensity class to
music using a ballet bar, light hand weights, high repetitions and stretching - perfect for sculpting the body and
getting the metabolism going to burn calories.
Ultimately, we believe in total body care, so four years ago we decided to develop our own Face Pilates
routine! Yes, you can work your facial muscles to look younger and keep the lines and wrinkles at bay.
The effects are quicker because the skin of the face is attached to the muscle and there is less fat. A full
class is one hour, but once you learn the routine we always recommend to work out three to five times
a week to maintain results. Of course, the sooner you start the better is the outcome in the long-term.
While focusing on their everyday lives , most people live aside from their body. At Studio Australia
Barcelona, we teach people to listen, observe, maintain and love their bodies. To be naturally
happy in their own skin, because for us Pilates is not just a practice, its a way of life.

words // Armand lvarez

A
while ago, a strong desire to uplift my life
brought a book into my hands, Return to
Love. This book has forever changed my
perception of what a Miracle is. That was my
first encounter with a spiritual teacher, lecturer, and
renowned bestselling author Marianne Williamson.
Her words have continued to reverberate in my head
ever since: A Miracle is a shift in perception from
fear to love. Her outstanding talent to touch people
on a deeper level for the past 30 years has changed
many lives. She constantly reminds us, through her
spiritual perspective, the essence of who we are. Now,
a few years later, I have had the honor to talk to Mar-
ianne about her latest book, Tears To Triumph: The
Spiritual Journey From Suffering To Enlightenment.

In her own words she says:

I wrote Tears to Triumph in order to help us remember
that there is a much deeper meaning to our lives. And
when we remember that deeper meaning and learn to

Architecture is a discipline that gives evidence to the experiences of
being in the world, and through interaction, strengthens our sense of

that can still enrich everyday life of the affected.
