Step 56: Click the Select structures button in the side toolbar and double click the footing.

be plotted. How about the sign of the bending moment?

Step 57: Click Curve manager button to generate a load-displacement curve. In Curves
generation sheets, click New. The Curve generation pops up
Step 58: For the x-axis, select point A (0.00/4.00) from the drop-down menu. Select |u| option
for the Total displacements option for Deformations. For the y-axis, select the Mstage is the
proportion of the specified change that have been applied. Hence the value will range from 0
to 1, which means that 100% of the prescribed load has been applied and the prescribed
ultimate state has been fully reach.
