Justification on the achievability of the process in the reactor given

The calculated weight of the catalyst used, W using a specific formula upon application of the
Ergun equation was used as the assumption for values of W. The value of W calculated is
20.5696 g. The corresponding value of conversion, X obtained from the calculation using the
value of W mentioned earlier is 0.1880248 and 0.1928324 for the case of the presence and the
absence of pressure drop respectively. Thus, the completion of the calculations proves that the
process in the reactor is achievable.
