1. Begin by laying your template
on your card stock of choice and trace your
petals.
Largest base petal- 6-7 cuts
2nd layer— 6 cuts
3rd layer— 6 cuts
4th layer- 5-6 cuts
2. Cut all your petals out.
You can make this process quicker by stacking 2-3
sheets on top one another & cutting several at once.
Use binder clips to keep the paper from moving
3. Now you want to cut sits at the bottom
center of each petal, about an inch, slightly
less on the smaller petals. Starting with the 1st layer
put glue on the inside edge & over lap the slit,
but not too much or your petals will be too tight
when assembled to get all the smaller layer in.
Do this wil all the petals.
You can over lap a little more on the 3rd & 4th layer
Here is what you
should have so far.
4. Next you will cur! all
the petals back.
You can do this by hand
or use a thick wood.

5, Assembly time. Starting with
your 1st layer of base petals, add some glue
to the outer edge of one petal & precede to
over lap another petal at about a 45° angel
& press firmly for a second or two.
Continue in this fashion until all
the base petals come together to form a circle at
the center.6. Use the circle punch or
cut a small square to glue
over the open bottom

7. Start the 2nd layer of petals
alternating between the base petals
as shown above.
8. Continue alternating petals

the 4th layer.0.To create the rolled center, fold a piece of
card stock in half length wise. Cut the
paper down the middle. Lay the
2 pieces on top one another
& fold in half again.
11.With the 2 pieces still folded together
begin cutting slits all the way way down
the length of the paper.
Leave about a 1/4 inch at the base.
12.Separate the 2 pieces
13.Start rolling the first fringed piece
adding glue along the edges as you go.
You can use the dowel to get the rolling
started easier.
After you finish rolling the first piece,
continue by rolling on the next one.
And gently fan the center once
it is together.
Glue the center on and
admire your pretty flower!

1. You can follow these methods no
matter which shape petal you are using.
2. If you wish to create smaller flowers
simply start with the 2nd layer of petals
instead of the 1st largest base petals.
3. Use command strips for hanging on
walls. If you wish to move the
flowers, release the command strip and
