Initializing Sequence
Management of Learning

I. Pre-Bell
Housekeeping
Students clean assigned places.
The President, Vice President and/or the Peace Officer inspect cleaning areas.
II. First Bell
Prayer
Three consecutive rings shall mark the first bell.
Students proceed to their respective chairs.
Prayer leader proceeds in front to lead the class in prayer.
Alternatively, the class may sing Espiritung Banal every morning.
The following are said after every prayer:
Students: Nunc coepi. (Now, I begin).
Teacher: Benedicat tibi Dominus et custodiat te!
III. Second Bell
Attendance
The Secretary and/or the PO check the attendance.
The teacher signs the attendance sheet.
NB. Late students shall be accepted inside the room after the following steps
have been done:
o Late student asks permission to enter.
o Once granted, he shall stand in front and say the following:
I apologize to my teacher and my classmates for the
inconvenience my tardiness caused them. I shall endeavor never to be
late again. Nunc coepi.
o The class responds: Apology accepted. May you never be late again.
IV. Third Bell
Review/Recap
The recap shall cover the contents of the lesson and the salient points raised
during class discussions.
It shall be done randomly, with males and females alternating every
meeting.
The class secretary shall keep track of this random rotation.
Each recap shall be considered an oral reporting activity for EAPP.
V. Fourth Bell
Discussion Proper
The rule of courtesy and respect shall be of top priority.
When somebody speaks, listen.
Argue, dont fight. And do it respectfully and intelligently.
VI. Fifth Bell
Dismissal
All students shall stand at the sound of the bell.
The teacher says: Tu autem Domine miserere nobis.
The class responds: Deo gracias.
