AIM:
To make Online Fee Collection easier.

METHODOLOGY:
The various procedure carried out for
developing the present system is as follows:
Study the overall system in detail.
Identify the problem within the existing
system and the opportunities to improve
the performance.
Collection of various types of data flow in
the system.
The techniques used are:
Interviewing
Gathering input record
Registration
Defining the new system
requirements in terms of:
 Input it must accept
Resources it must use
Output it must produce

SYSTEM ANALYSIS
Analysis:
Time is very important in our life. We utilise this time
coming to school. The quality education which we
get depends upon the fee paid in the school. Now
most of the work is done easily done through
internet. Now-a-days, going to the bank and waiting
in a queue for long time to fill out the Chillans and
then make the transaction is not practical, especially
when the parents are working. So, in order to solve
this issue, UNION BANK OF INDIA has now started
Online Fee Collection system.
The system of visiting the bank, standing in the
queue, paying the fees has many disadvantages.
It requires money as well as time to do so. Since
everyone is leading to busy life time means lot to
everyone .The bank need not necessarily be
available for transactions any time. It works a for
a particular time period every working day, so it
is difficult to adjust the timings of the payment.
In order to overcome this issue, we have a
convenient solution, i.e. online payment, where
the payment can be done from one place to other
through net banking. This proposed system helps
in paying the fees online every quarter using
internet connection. Due to this, time
consumption can be reduced .The Chillans can
be generated online, and fee receipt can also be
generated for reference. This helps the user to
avoid the problems like theft, etc.

Overview or System Analysis:

To develop an appropriate system for
successfully handling the bank data
management, it is necessary to
analyse its present mode of working.
The Proposed System:
Considering the drawbacks and the
inefficiency of the present manual
system, we recommend a fully
automated online fee payment system.
Once the computerised system is
installed, it must be able to accomplish
the entire manual task automatically,
except for the required input data. It
must perform the following tasks:
Provision for adding a new
students details.
 Saving time for travelling to the
bank.
Good and trusted delivery
services.
Alerts and reporting through E-
mails and/or cell phones.
Generating receipts.
Transactional reports for all.

SYSTEM DESIGN

INTR0DUCTION:
The development phase consists of the
development of the proposed system
from specification specified in the
design phase.
After initial investigation, the problem
and drawbacks were identified.
Appropriate solutions for improving the
efficiency of the present system are
recommended with the emphasis on the
following points:
1. Output Design:

This includes the process of finalizing

the medium, format and exact content
of each output to be produced by the
new system.
2. Input Design:
Here the data that must be input into
the system to produce the required
output information are identified and
data entry screens are designed.

3. File Design.
In this part suitable key fields are
identified for various files and its coding
is designed. The type, width and size of
the other data elements are also
identified.
 MODULES
Visitor interface:
This page of the Online Shopping
application will be the first to be
displayed, when a person visits the
Website for Fee payment. This page will
display a welcome message to facilitate
navigation through the application. The
functionalities provided by the visitor
interface are:
o About us
o Pay online fees
o Generate Chillans & Print
receipt
User Interface:
The user home page is displayed
only to the head of the institution or
to the teacher who has registered.
Only a registered user can view this
page. If non-registered users try to
login, then an error message should
be displayed. It should have a facility
to register with the bank. This page
should show the welcome message
to the user and also, it will display
various menus to facilitate
navigation through the application.
The functions provided by the user
interface are:

Administration Interface:

The administrator home page is

displayed to administrator logs on to
the Website. The application has to
provide a login for administrators
and also should show the related
functionalities. Administrator
interface category will have the
following functionalities. They are:
1. Home Page
2. Login
3. New registration
 4. details of Students
5. fee Chillans
6. Reports on Fee transactions
7. Account verification

8. Deactivate/Activate account
9. Logout

Management Interface:
The management interface must
have the provision to display a series
of commonly used modules. The
further clarifications and
functionalities should be carried out
by the management interface.
Functionalities are as follows:
a. Add or Delete an Administrator.
b. Modify the accounts.
c. Differentiate between common
user and administrator, and show
proper interfaces.
d. Any FAQs.
e. Refunding of Fee paid due to
error.
