Description of how to implement in the class: During this narrated PowerPoint,
students will learn how to recognize shapes with their correct names. The students
will look and listen to the PowerPoint. The goal is for the students to know each shape
by the end of it. Having students listen and learn from the PowerPoint is a great way
for students to be engaged in the learning process.
A narrated PowerPoint is an interactive way for children to learn new material. I would
introduce the lesson with the PowerPoint so children are able to learn what each
shape is. I would replay it at the end of the week to insure that the students
understand the material.

Level of Technology Implementation (Loti): I believe that this learning

experience is a level 3 because the lesson is basic so students dont have to
do much critical thinking, however a narrated PowerPoint is a creative way
for children to learn information
Description of the sample spreadsheet and graph/chart provided: The
narrated PowerPoint will be narrated as follows:
Shapes by: Cherish Gresham
What shape do you see?
Square
What shape do you see?
Circle
What shape do you see?
Rectangle
What shape do you see?
Triangle
What shape do you see?
Oval
I love shapes!

The file format for my lesson idea is .mp4.

This lesson will be effective to help students learn because it will teach
them how to recognize certain shapes. It also helps them associate the
name of the shape to the shape.
