Personal statement
I am currently attending The Henley College where I am
studying Creative Media Production (Extended Diploma Level
3). This is a vocational course, equivalent to three A Levels
which is providing me with a great opportunity to work and
develop my skills in TV and film editing as I wish to have a
future career in this exciting and varied industry.
I am looking to gain as much employment experience to allow
me to reach my goals and gain the best out of my future life;
thus my present employment history has allowed me to work
in a team, develop customer interaction and selling skills.
I now however, wish to have more real time experience in the
Media industry, working alongside professionals to help me to
discover my area of expertise. So far I have particularly
enjoyed filming and being behind the camera.
I am responsible, punctual, reliable and self motivated and I
always treat everybody with respect.

Other skills and interests

I was awarded GCSE grade A for Drama and believe I am
therefore a confident performer and communicator with the
ability to work in a team to achieve results.
I was awarded GCSE grade A for Food Technology practical. I
therefore have gained a number of skills and experience in
food safety and hygiene.
I recently raised funds towards a trip to Borneo in July 2016,
where I worked within a team on a project to help in a local
village community, completed an expedition to climb the
highest mountain and passed my first stage PADI Diving

Testimonials
Joe was initially suggested to me by a mutual contact. It was
obvious from the beginning that even with his lack of event
experience he was diligent, eager to learn and please, no task was a
problem. He was presentable, and his confidence certainly grew on
site as tasks became second nature. He also had a keen eye and
watched others to learn and interact. Joe was a valued member of
the team and he would take instruction, get on with the task in hand
and think around it without needing to ask for future direction. He
worked very well in the team especially in some challenging
situations. Joe is a credit to himself.
