In our group, we choose to study the REGULAR SAVINGS SYSTEM of PMPC, TUDELA
BRANCH. This system is imposed to cater people who would like to set aside their extra money from
their income. Technically, regular savings means to deposit at least P100.00 only. As it reaches to P500.00
then the annual interest of 3% is now computed to add on to your balance. Since this is regular savings,
depositors can withdraw their money any time they want to but it should have at least P100.00 remaining
balance for further transactions. It may accept checks as long as valid and not bouncing checks as a form
of deposit but for the new depositor it must be in a form of cash.
Addition to that, we are only concerned about the typical transaction in PMPC, TUDELA BRANCH
in their savings product and it does not covers withdrawal transactions.
1. The AO or Account Officer will visit different places in rural areas and recruit possible
depositors to save money from their extra income. If AO officer has prospective depositor, he
will just tell then the teller.
2. When prospective depositor comes in and will directly go to the teller ask for a savings slip,
a new account is created in the depositor master file.
3. Deposit slip is given for the depositor to fill up and gave it back to the teller together with
the money.
4. The teller will automatically send the money together with the deposit slip and passbook to
cashier and check if it corresponds with the amount written.
7. Responsibility of the cashier now is to deposit the money to the Misamis Bank.
