Doctor of Musical Arts Performance

The Graduate Faculty Committee (GFC) consists of three graduate faculty from within the students
area of specialization and one graduate faculty member from an external conservatory area.
Members of a students GFC are responsible for guiding a student through the completion of their
degree. Committee members will approve all recital programs, attend all degree recitals, and
participate in the oral defense (as applicable). The Academic Advisor and applied instructor
work jointly to establish each GFC.
