Ithas now become a truly Canadian staple treat, Directions for: Anna Olson's Nanaimo Bars INGREDIENTS Crust ‘cup graham cracker crumbs 3 Thsp cocoa powder Ye tsp salt ‘cup sweetened flaked coconut ‘Ye cup walnut pieces 6 Thsp unsalted butter, malted ‘large egg, lightly beaten Filling ‘Yecup unsalted butter, ot room temperature 2 cups icing sugar, sited 2 Tbsp vonilla custard powder Pinch of soit 3 Tbsp mk ‘tsp vanilla extract Topping ‘oz semisweet chocolat, chopped 2 Tos unsalted buter ‘Sea salt, for sprinkling (optional) DIRECTIONS ——— Crust 1.Preheat the aven to 380 *F (180°C) Lightly grease an &-inch (20 em) square pan and tine it with parchment paper so thatt comes up the sides. 2.
