Conceptual Framework
E-banking or electronic banking refer the use of information technology which allows
customer to access banking service electronic whether it is to pay bills, transfer of fund and
get any information.
In the simplest word Delivery of traditional banking service is to customer like transfer of
fund, know the balance etc. at any place, at any time by using electronic technology can be
termed as E-banking.
The Internet banking is changing the banking industry and is having the major effects on
banking relationships. Even the Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Internet research emphasized
that Web is more important for retail financial services than for many other industries. Internet
banking involves use of Internet for delivery of banking products & services. It falls into four
main categories, from Level 1 - minimum functionality sites that offer only access to deposit
account data - to Level 4 sites - highly sophisticated offerings enabling integrated sales of
additional products and access to other financial services- such as investment and insurance.
In other words a successful Internet banking solution offers.
The concept of user satisfaction has been used since the early 1980 (Bailey & Pearson, 1983;
Ives, Olson, & Baroudi, 1983) and the end user computing satisfactions have been studied
since the 1980 (Bailey & Pearson, 1983; J. Chin, Diehl, & Norman, 1988; Ives et al., 1983;
Rivard & Huff, 1988; Rushinek & Rushinek, 1986). Bailey et al. (1983) state that several
factors affect the user satisfaction and it can be seen as a bi-dimensional attitude. The user
satisfaction can be seen sum of users feeling and attitudes toward several factors that affect
the usage situation (Bailey et al., 1983).

The main objective of this study to get an overview of the internet banking sector in India and
study how it has help in changing the banking habits of various individuals. Some other
objectives are:

Sample
The study will be conducted on randomly selected 100 customers of Banking Sector.
The Tools
Data Collection
Self Design questionnaire which would be designed with the help of mentor shall be
administrated on foresaid customers. The scale would be developed on liker scale having
customers option on summated scale.
Data Analysis
Tables
Charts
Associated Z-Test to determine the significance if difference between the mean values.
Standard statistical tools are proposed to be applied during the study.
