Encik Haris took his family to the

night market last Saturday. They will be a

night market every Saturday at his housing
area. They walked to go there as it is just
a walking distance from their house

Encik Haris bought some onions, garlic

potatoes , rice and some vegetables at the
night market. He also brought some fruit

supper at a food stall. The food is very
cheap and delicious. They enjoyed
themselves at the night market. They

Accident

Mr Eric was riding his motorcycle to work

yesterday morning. He was riding along a
highway. Suddenly, a lorry knocked him from
behind. He fell heavily onto the road was
badly injured. His head and arms were
bleeding profusely

A few motorist stopped their vehicles to

help. One of them called the ambulance and
it arrived very soon.

The attendance put Mr Eric on stretcher

carefully and he was rushed to the hospital in
the ambulance. The police came in two police
patrol cars to the scene to investigate the
accident. They took photographs and
questioned a few people including the lorry
driver.
Flood

There was heavy rain f other past week. The

rivers in Kampung Indra were overflowing so
the village was flooded. The water level rose
rapidly and soon the houses were under the
five-foot floodwater. Many poultry and
cattle were killed too.

The villagers climbed on to the roofs of the

houses. They lost all their belongings and
they were sad that they had to evacuate
their homes.

The rescue teams came in boats and the

villagers were taken to the school hall on
higher ground.they had to stay at the
temporary shelter until the floodwater
subsided
Fishing

Last Sunday encik Roslan went fishing by

the river near his house. He used fishing
rod and bait to fish. Encik Roslan used
worms as bait. He sat on a rock and waited
patiently for the fish to bite.

After fishing about two hours , encik

roslan caught a big fish. He was delighted.
He put in a basket and took it home.

At home, Encik Roslan wife, puan Laila

cleaned the fish and fried it for dinner.
Encik Roslan and his children enjoyed
eating the fish. It was really tasty.
