Officiation: Vienna Swimming Federation

Timekeeping: Fully electronic timekeeping

Rules: Competition rules of the Austrian Swimming Association and International

Swimming Federation (FINA) apply.

Conduct: Events will be held in heats on the basis of submitted entry times.
If necessary, 800m, 400m and 1500m freestyle may be held with 2
competitors per lane (according to FINA Masters-Swimming-Rule 3.8).
Where appropriate and the schedule allows, 10-15 minutes breaks may be
made between events.

Age Groups: Individual Events: Age Group (AG) 25 (1992-1988), AG 30 (1987-1983),

AG 35 (1982-1978), etc. (in 5-year age groups, as high as necessary).

Relay Events: AG 100 -119, AG 120-159, AG 160 - 199, etc

(in 40-year age groups, as high as necessary)

Rankings: There are two rating categories, one international rating and one rating for
Viennese clubs only. Events will be scored with the DSV-Masters-Table, a
handicapped point system which ranks masters swimmers across age
groups.

Awards: Places 1 to 3 of the ranking across age groups will receive a medal for
individual and relay results.

Ceremonies: Awards ceremonies will take place during the competition, approx. 30
minutes after the posting of results.
