Our History

In January 2017, with the Master of Art in Teaching (M.A.T.) from

Saginaw Valley State University, Michigan, the Chinese teacher
Lifang Qiu decided to organize a new type of Chinese learning
center for children and adults of every background in Midland,
Michigan. Our vision was to create a school that children or
clients looked forward to attending every week--where they
could improve practical communication skills, recognition skills,
time management skill, and develop a life-long appreciation for
the Chinese language and culture, and build lasting friendships
with their fellow students.

Our Mission

The Culture Bridge Learning Center is committed to providing

excellence in Chinese language and culture instruction
services. Our mission is to create and offer educational
programs that enable learners to discover and develop an
appreciation for the evolving richness of the Chinese language
and culture.
We seek to serve as a bridge between our students, clients and
the larger Chinese learning community by offering our Chinese
language and culture program, enrichment programs, tutoring
services, homework support, corporate training and
consultation services.
