Junior Choir St Georges Church

On the first day back after half term, some members of
the Upper School choir attended a special service at St.
George's Church in Gravesend. The service had the
theme of 'peace and reconciliation' in honour of the
work of Pocahontas who died in Gravesend 400 years
ago. The choir sang two songs, 'Something inside so
strong,' by Labi Siffre and 'Let there be peace on Earth,'
by Sy Miller and Jill Jackson. There were four other
school choirs who also performed various different
songs. Our choir sang very well indeed and they can be
very proud of themselves for performing so
professionally. Huge thanks must go to Mrs Kitsell for
her help and Mr Scarf for accompanying us.
