    1. Basic BLS treatments

    2. Maintain the patients airway and assure that they do not injure themselves or someone else.

    3. Administer high flow oxygen, if the patient will tolerate, until their GCS returns to normal.

    4. ALS evaluation/transport criteria:


    a. First time seizure
    b. GCS <15 (or patients norm) ten minutes after seizure activity ends
    c. History of head trauma within the last two (2) weeks
    d. Any seizure lasting >five (5) minutes (status epilepticus)
    e. Multiple seizures
