Tina Cooper, aged 8, was walking with her brother along the cliffs yesterday afternoon when the edge of
the path broke and Tina fell over the side of the cliff. She fell about halfway down the cliff and landed on a
small ledge. Her brother ran and asked some people to help. One of them called the police and the coast
guard on a mobile phone. Soon they saw a helicopter flying above them. The helicopter dropped one of the
rescuers down onto the ledge where Tina was lying. The helicopter then lifted them both off the ledge and
took Tina to hospital. The doctors were amazed to find that she only had a broken wrist.
