Hunt for the

Wilderpeople
Ricky runs in fear as he sees the flames growing bigger and bigger. The movie

hunt for the Wilderpeople is about a boy named Ricky Baker who has been passed

around from home to home until he finally was put in the right one. Ricky was a bad

child in everyone eyes. He was labeled for being a thief, defacing property,spitting...etc.

This was the last foster home for Ricky and if he blew this one he was going to juvie.

Ricky is a dynamic character because he was a bad child in everyones eyes,he turned

into a survivor and then he became happy at the ending.

He was bad Until he met Bella who takes him in as her own as. He was a mean

child to other people but when Bella saw him she didnt see a bad kid just a kid that

needs a good home. This was because at the beginning of the story the child welfare

lady said that he was a bad kid convicted of stealing, defacing property, and a lot more

stuff. Bella made him finally fell at home. She gave him food,a nice warm bed and a

knife to kill monsters with...etc the list goes on and on. Not only did Ricky learn what a

true family is like,he also learned what it takes to survive in the bush.

Ricky had to turn into a survivor character like Lara Croft from Tomb Raider.

When Bella died he wanted to run away so he had to learn how to survive on his own

without Bella. For example when Hec broke his leg Ricky had to be the caretaker of

both of them. Like when (sorry for the spoiler) Zig the dog got severely injured by a boar

and Ricky had to step up and kill the boar himself. This skill could help him in the long

run if he was to have something bad happen to him or Hec he has to be ready for the
many dangers in the Bush. Ricky not only knows what its like to survive but to love and

feel apart of a family again.

Ricky is happy at the end of the story because everything turned out okay. The

reason he is happy at the end is because he has his Uncle Hec,Tupac, and a loving

family. The reason it supports the main idea is because just when he was feeling happy

he had everything that he loved taken from him on the run from the law. Ricky starts to

learn the lesson that he realizes he has a family and friends that still love him. This

shows that he finally be happy for a change in his life. This is why Ricky is a dynamic

character.

Ricky shows he is an dynamic character because he was a bad child in the

beginning when he burned down Hecs barn,he turned into a survivor and then he

became happy at the ending. So what if he made mistakes as long as he makes up for it

here and know.
