General product information: The equipment, type E, is a Central Vacuum cleaner. The SELV
powered LCD display is optional, when not provided, the mounting hole is omitted. Units vary in
motor used and firmware controlled motor speed, as illustrated below:
Cinderson motor model V1J-PY29-16 at Level 4 rated 230-240V,1450W
Cinderson motor model V1J-PY29-16 at Level 3 rated 230-240V,1375W
Cinderson motor model V1J-PY29-6 at Level 4 rated 230-240V, 1575W
Cinderson motor model V1J-PY29-6 at Level 3 rated 230-240V, 1500W
Cinderson motor model V1J-PY29-16 at Level 4 rated 220V, 1200W
Cinderson motor model V1J-PY29-16 at Level 3 rated 220V, 1150W
Cinderson motor model V1J-PY29-6 at Level 4 rated 220 V, 1350W
Cinderson motor model V1J-PY29-6 at Level 3 rated 220 V, 1250W

It is to be fixed on the wall during the final application. Units may be provided with a hose that incorporates a
variable resistor that serves to provide a speed control function for the unit. Tests were conducted at high
and low speeds to cover the operating range of this hose. This hose is powered by SELV output only.

A snubber device consisting of a approved X2 capacitor and a 100 ohm 1W resistor mounted on a V-0
circuit board may be inserted between the motor and the ECS board.

Note: The Type E Central Vacuum is identical to the previously certified Type K Central Vacuum except for
the enclosure cover. This test report is based on and identical to Report No. 3171719MIN-002 describing
the Type K product except for the addition of the impact test on the new enclosure cover. All other testing
was conducted on the Type K product and described in test reports 3171719MIN-002 and 3171719MIN-
003.
