One-day course with ocial certification
as a Laser Safety Ocer (LSO)
(This course is a prerequisite for practical laser use)
The innovative treatment methods of laser therapy include risks for both practi-
tioners and their teams as well as for patients if fundamental technical, biological
and physical information about the application and laser safety measures are
not or insuciently known.
We prepare you for safely using lasers by giving you an in-depth understanding
of laser physics and laser-tissue interaction. With examples, we clarify the need
for safety precautions in the use of lasers in everyday dental practice. We ex-
plain statutory regulations, demonstrate their implementation in practice and
describe laser application fields. After passing the examination you receive the

Our laser safety courses meet the requirements of the trade associations for
obtaining expertise as a Laser Safety Ocer. They are ocially recognized
according to the guidelines of BGV B2 (orientated to EN 60825-1 and ANSI

Dr Mohammed Adib Al Agha

Dr Adib is a Palestinian Dentist who received his BDS degree in Cairo, Egypt from Misr
University for Science And Technology in 2004.
He was born and raised in Abu Dhabi, UAE, but he travelled a lot obtaining his degree
joining multiple universities, in Pakistan, Turkey UAE and Finally Egypt where he obtained
his degree and opened his first private practice together with the lady who is now his
wife Dr Amaal Saied (whos an oral surgeon and esthetic dentist).
He received 2 years of post graduate training in oral and Maxillofacial surgery in
Alexandria University but unfortunately didn't complete his post graduate degree due to
his wedding to Dr Amaal and their relocation to Saudi Arabia, where he worked for two
years as the dental department manager in a polycyclic private practice.
He moved to UAE in 2008 and became a clinical trainer with a Dental Supplies company.
This versatility in his background allows him to explain clinical application knowledge,
emphasizing the benefits to the dentists' daily practice.
In 2009 he joined Al Hayat as their first dental Marketing Specialist where he built a
training database and encouraged the use of the apple ipad as a clinical demonstration
tool, which has now been taken up by all of the companys representatives and specialists.
Dr Adib has also been responsible for clinical application training of sales staff and
dental customers in UAE and Qatar covering many of the latest dental technologies, in
fields such as:

Dr Adib is married with 3 children and lives in Sharjah, UAE. He speaks and writes

Professor Benedicenti is Associate Professor in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics at

the University of Genova (Italy).

He is Dean of the laser department center of the University of Genova. Additionally, he is

President of the European Master Course in Laser Dentistry. He is a Founding member
of IAHT (International Academy of High Tech) Professor Benedicenti is an author and
co-author of 80 publications in National and International journals and three books in
the field of laser dentistry.
