Achebe suggested that the Igbo culture is dynamic (constantly changing). Find the
evidence in the novel to support this.

Thesis: The Igbo culture is constantly changing throughout the novel.

BODY:
Signs of change:
Religion- Igbo men converted to Christianity
Government- The whites brought a new government to Umuofia.

CONCLUSION:
In conclusion, throughout the novel, changes occur in the Igbo culture.
1. Religion changed due to the introduction of Christianity
2. Government changed due to whites
3. Younger Igbo generation will not grow up with Igbo values, which changed to
a new religion. This religion brought about new traditions and beliefs.
