    LESSON PLAN WRITING

    Theme: World of Story

    Topic: The Ant and The Grasshopper

    Learning Standards: 3.3.1

    Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

    (i) create simple text using a variety of media with guidance

    Time: 60 minutes
    Teaching Aids: Flash cards
    Steps:
    Pre-writing
    1. Teacher divides pupils into 4 groups
    2. Teacher distributes 2 word cards to each group
    3. Pupils discuss and make as many sentences as they can

    Writing
    4. Pupils write their sentences on portable whiteboard
    5. Pupils read out their sentences loud
    6. Teacher discusses with pupils the sentences they make
    7. Pupils copy all the sentences into their exercise book

    Feedback
    8. Teacher distributes the story cards to pupils
    9. Pupils rearrange the story cards
    10. Pupils write linear text based on the pictures
