weather forecast for Spain. Spanish with correct pronunciation.

Key Content including vocabulary and phrases

First 5 to 10 minutes. Ask chn what we learnt last week. Can any chn remember any phrases for
the weather? Go through flashcards, listening to teacher and repeat add cloudy (spend more
time on this word.)

Activity 15 minutes chn to look at map of Spain, Teacher start in English saying Friday, in
Sevilla, it is windy then model the activity in Spanish Viernes, en Sevilla, hace viento
Chn to all get a go to put the correct weather symbol on the map and the correct day on the side.

Activity 20 minutes worksheet Que tiempo hace? Whats the weather like?
Map on the board with different weather symbols chn to write correct Spanish on their
worksheet.

Assessment
Listening to pronunciation.
Observing correct selection of pictures.
Worksheets.
Plenary
To improve numbers, between 1 and 40 bingo.
As chn leave the classroom ask Que tiempo hace? and show a flash card.
