1. Why does this short story classify as "Magical Realism"? What elements of magic
appear in the story?List two examples. What elements of realism are included as well?

- To begin with, let me describe about Magical realism first, it simply is a genre of
narrative fiction. In which express a primary realistic view of the real world while
also revealing magical elements. The story The Old Man with Enormous wing
exist many unnatural creatures such like an old man with the wing. The two
example of element of magic in this story are An old man with the wing and The
spider girl, who got infected by a lightning bolt and turned her into a giant
tarantula. And for element of realism are including a detail mention about how an
old man look, he look like an old man but has a big wings on his back
