teaching in a wide variety of classroom settings. Educating students is both a calling and
talent of mine. Aiding students in becoming independent, critical thinkers, and resourceful
members of the community is my passion, where I ultimately feel that I can make a
difference. My greatest strength is building a strong relationship with students, seeing their
full potential, and helping them achieve their goals through my individualized lesson plans.
My background in mission work has positively influenced how I value each individual
student. I have spent time working with children from diverse backgrounds. I have lead a
vacation bible school in an inner city summer school in Chicago, taught in a poverty afflicted
school in the community of Harmons, Jamaica, and I also spent a week connecting with
Guatemalan children who predominantly speak Spanish.
