Making connections

Asma, you have found a connection with Ayan which came about with you
both having similar interest in playdough, on the see-saw and playing
happy family in class. We often find the pair of you engaged in these
activities together and sharing ideas to help each other.

Having made this connection, particularly with Ayan, the pair of you go
exploring various activities calling out to each other when you want to
move off into different curriculum areas. It is great to see how happy,
confident and relaxed you have become, Asma. It is wonderful also to see
you having lots of fun in your games with your new friends, hearing your
voice and laughter.

Asma, you are learning about new peer relationships. You are learning
social skills when you are able to think creatively giving instructions and
sharing ideas. You are learning to be more socially competent and
confident to interact with others and participate in small group games to
learn new skills and knowledge. You are learning to trust new relationships
with people, places and things.

Asma, we will support you as your peer relationships develop and learn to
express and share your ideas with your peers. I am sure you have more

ideas to share with your friends as you participate in small group activities
together learning new skills knowledge.
