Special X Malt 500g

A malt with an uncommonly mild flavor that despite its dark color exhibits very pleasant nuances:
raisin, plum and burnt sugar. Special X also imparts a stunning deep reddish copper hue. The
finest two-rowed summer malting barley varieties and careful malting practices employing state-
of-the-art techniques form the foundation for this very distinctive malt with an exceptional flavour,
colour and aroma.

CaraPils Malt 500g

CaraPils is commonly added to beer recipes to enhance head retention and to add body to a
beer without introducing strong caramel notes. The malt character resembles that of Pilsner malt.
CaraPils can be used by up to 50% of the grain bill.

Melanoidin Light Malt 500g

Described as turbo Munich, Melanoidin Light imparts the rich breadcrust characteristics
associated with the decoction mashing process. It gives the beer a strong flavour and a slightly
reddish colour. The full-bodied nature of the beer is enhanced. The malt is characterised by its
ease of processing. You can use Melanoidin in up to 50% of your grainbill.

Cara Extra Dark Malt 500g

Cara Extra Dark reinforces the typical caramely malt complexity of the beer. Dark toffee notes
and a significantly dark amber hue are the typical results of utilising this malt in your grain bill. In
addition, it enhances the full-bodied character of the beer and increases foam stability. Cara
Extra Dark is a perfect addition to a hoppy IPA, providing the body and residual sweetness to
balance the high hop bitterness associated with the style.

Roasted Barley 500g

Roasted Barley is a dark roasted barley that imparts a burnt, grainy, coffee-like flavor to your
beer. It actually has some starch that can be converted during the mash, thus impacting the
specific gravity. Roasted Barley adds dryness to the finish of Porters and Stouts
