3/8: Coffee with the Principal
The next Coffee with the Principal will take place Wednesday March 8 @ 6:30PM at Wilsons Media Center. Topics to be
covered include Common Core, SBAC (CAASPP) and the new API. This session will focus on how Common Core State
Standards support college and career readiness, and how SBAC results influence college placement. Please join us!

HLPUSD Summer School

The course offerings and registration form for HLPUSD Summer School is available for current students in grades 9, 10 or 11.
If interested, student must complete a summer school registration form and submit to the Guidance Office of the school
where student plans to attend. Regular registration period is March 6-17.

Seniors: 2017-2018 Financial Aid Applications
Seniors who plan to pursue higher education after high school need to submit
SAT & SAT Subject
a financial aid application, in order to determine eligibility for financial aid. The www.sat.org
priority deadline for the FAFSA and CA DREAM Application is March 2, 2017. 2017 Test Registration Late*

Tuesday Frosh Tutoring Available upon request at Guidance Office.
Link Crew offers Tuesday tutoring to all freshmen in need of academic support
or a quiet place to study. Tutoring in core academic subjects (English, math,
biology, history and foreign languages) is offered. Light snacks provided.
When: Every Tuesday 3:15PM 4:30PM
Where: Room B8 (Mrs. Tays classroom)
