PRE-INTERNSHIP REFLECTION

My Cooperating Teachers Name: Mrs. Newell

My Internship School/Grade: Salem Middle School Algebra 1

What I hope by cooperating teacher will be/act like... I hope my cooperating teacher is really
enthusiastic and passionate about teaching. My teacher should be fun and cares deeply for her
students. As far as how she acts towards me, I just hope that shes excited for me to be there and
that she has a lot for me to do!

The most important thing I learned during this VTfT classI learned that theres a lot more to
teaching than what you initially think. Theres so much time and effort that goes into it, but it is
totally and completely worth it. This experiences has made me really excited for my
internship/future teaching career.

How I feel right now about beginning my internship Im really excited! I want my cooperating
teacher to enjoy having me in the classroom, and feel like she and the students can trust me with
various responsibilities.

How I hope Ill feel in May when my internship is over I hope that my desire to be a teacher is
clear. I have high expectations for this experience, and no doubt that my expectations will be
met/exceeded. I hope that Ill be even more passionate and excited for everything that lies ahead.
