Activities:
1. The teacher will read the text in page 10.

2. The pupils will follow the teacher to read the text.

3. The teacher will let pupil to read one by one.

4. The teacher and pupil will read the text together again.

5. The pupils will read the word in correct pronunciation.

6. The teacher will introduce pupil some pictures based on text for a better understanding.

7. The pupils will do some exercise on their note book.

5. The teacher will guide Thishan Raj for yesterdays lesson cause he was absent yesterday.
6. The teacher will guide him to do his lesson.

1. read and understand words in linear texts.
2. Match and the correct sounds of animals to their picture.

Activities:
1. Pupils name some animals and make their sounds that they had learnt in the previous lesson.
2. Pupils recite the rhyme after teacher.
3. Pupils make the sounds of animals stated in the rhyme.
4. Teacher introduces the action for each animal.
5. Pupils recite the rhyme and make the action together.
6. Pupils gather in groups of six and match the word cards of animal sounds to the correct pictures.

Teaching Aids : picture cards, word cards, rhyme (text book), masks
