Section 16.

GENERAL SUPERVISION OVER AUTONOMOUS REGIONS

To ensure that the laws are faithfully executed.

Section 17. All powers, functions and responsibilities not granted by this Constitution or by law to the
autonomous region shall be vested in the National Government.

Examples:

1) Foreign relations,

2) National defense and Security

3) Monetary Affairs

A foreign policy is a set of political goals that seeks to outline how a particular country will interact with the
other countries of the world. Foreign policies generally are designed to help protect a country's national
interests, national security, ideological goals, and economic prosperity.

A national defense and Security- is a concept that a government, along with its parliaments, should protect
the state and its citizens against all kind of "national" crises through a variety of power projections, such as
political power, diplomacy, economic power, military might, and so on.

Enacted-make (a bill or other proposal) law.

Vested- secured in the possession of or assigned to a person.
