The Purpose of the Maritime Ethics book is to orient the students in taking up

maritime courses to understand the concept of ethical frameworks in every

practical perspective. This book is the study about the good and bad characteristics

of maritime students. Responsiveness, to moral cases as applied in maritime

discipline between the students involved is highlighted as it connects to the

principles used in day to day situation.

The objective of this book is to help the learner to apply their various moral

foundations from series of lifes problem and to determine which of the classical or

traditional and the modern way situational approach is the best in terms of the rules

and principles in maritime ethics.

The traditional principles of maritime ethics in this textbook follow the

insights of Aristotle and St. Thomas Aquinas. Philosophies is included to enable

maritime students to other people of different mode of moral structures from all

over the world.

This book would never be complete without their enduring contributions in

the field of Philosophy and Ethics in general. The flow of discussion, the objectives
of each topic, in this way they pursue the same reason both of the learners and the

educators to value the significant need of the knowing-learning doing principle of

maritime ethics
