Pathways of Mercy

Forgiving

1. Even though our fellowmen had offended/hurt us we must forgive them but it

takes time.
2. We should forgive ourselves because we cannot look forward if we are being

held back by our regrets from the past.

3. We should ask forgiveness for our fellowmen even though we are not the

ones did the wrong thing.

4. We must attend the sacrament of penance for the cleansing of our sins and

ask forgiveness to our Lord.

5. We must not abuse others if they have forgiven us.

Alms Giving

1. We should be aware if someone is in need, we need to give them.

2. We make the poor loved, because they know we care for them.
3. Giving alms is like receiving blessings from God.
4. We must be open hearted and do not seek for a return-gift if we are giving

alms.
5. We must know the feeling of having nothing.

Comforting the Sick.

1. Showing compassion to the sick makes them feel important and strong.
2. If we put ourselves to their shoes, we are showing sympathy to them.
3. We must be persevering in facing our problems because this is just

challenge.
4. The suffering of our fellowmen if we show compassion to them makes them

more courageous.
5. Sickness is just a challenge to us.

Praying for Mercy.

1. It connects us to our merciful God.

2. It makes the community more intact.
3. It helps us recognize the needs of the needy.
4. We should never despair Gods mercy.
5. We should pray for all.
