Ed Tech Teacher

Advisory
Team Overview
Who: Teachers representing grades K-12, a variety of articulation areas, & Title 1
and option schools.

What: Provide input and guidance to the Jeffco Ed Tech team and help refine
and improve integration plans for our technology investments. This will include:
Gathering the current state of technology in schools (ie: concerns, PL
needs, success stories, creative ideas, etc.)
Determining what technology should look like, how will it be
integrated, and what support should be provided
Digging into the ISTE Standards for Students and looking at how to
systemically meet these in conjunction with C-CAP
Celebrating technology integration in our schools and sharing lessons
and ideas with other teachers
Identifying challenges to successfully using technology in schools

Where: Jeffco Public Schools Ed Center Room 3A/3B


When:
Tues. March 14 @ 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Thurs. April 20 @ 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Tues. May 16 @ 4:00-6:00 p.m.

What else you need to know:


A stipend will be available for participants.
You will represent numerous users across the district. Consider how
your voice will affect learners, teachers & families with varying experiences and
needs.
Our dialogue will influence district technology conversations and
decisions that will guide the Ed Tech team in better meeting the needs of
schools.
Our conversations and the resources that inform them are public. Please
help others find, and contribute to, these conversations.
