RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.

Google slides is an online application that is used by either a single individual or a group of students to
create a presentation. Groups are able to work individually on slides while other group members work on
other slides. This application automatically saves work and allows students to be aware of the group
members who are working on the presentation and even have notifications if any of the students
changed a slide that was already completed. Students have the ability to even message one another
during their time working on the slides.

INTEGRATION IDEA - PRESENTATION

How might you use this resource in a lesson plan to promote students
presentation/speaking/communication skills?

I see this resource to be used during either individual work or group work to present a specific topic such
as a book or section of a literature text. This will help them to elaborate their thoughts more as
individual work or group work. As well as there being no hassle with technical issues because students
will be able to share their presentations with me and I can bring them up one by one.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
Based on the value-added rating scale above, how would you rate the technology integration
you described, using the selected resource?
Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.

I would rate this as a 2 because I see this as something more used for students rather than teachers.
This will greatly enhance students engagements and increase their presentation skills at being able to
communicate among their peers. It helps solidify their work and allows students to have a peace of mind
that their work is automatically saved without any deletions.
