PLANT MAINTENANCE

Must have a working knowledge and experience in refrigeration, welding, electrical, PLCs,
pneumatics, and hydraulics. Must be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
Also be able to work with high speed packaging dairy equipment. Required to have verifiable
education or experience. Two-year degree preferred but not required. Must be able to keep
accurate records of time and materials used, work with and maintain work orders. Maintain
exceptional housekeeping skills, security practices and perform all duties safely according to all
Prairie Farms, PSM and OSHA guidelines. Good communication skills. Must be able to
complete industrial power equipment scissor lift training. At times required to work overtime and
weekends. Must be open to working off shifts. Must pass written mechanical aptitude
examination.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

Some heavy lifting and working in hot and/or cold environment: -20 or +100 degrees.
This is strenuous work requiring good corrected vision, hearing, stooping, kneeling, reaching,
lifting, and the ability to work under these conditions every day,
