2017 Concert Band Schedule

Specific Information about concerts and trips will come available as the time draws
nearer. Dates may be added but students will be given plenty of notice of any
changes.

January 13th- Concessions at Basketball Game

January 27th- District Honor Jazz Band @ Shiprock High School (Concert at 6pm)
February 3rd-4th- Fort Lewis College Select Band Clinic @ Fort Lewis College in
Durango, CO
February 11th- Solo and Ensemble Festival @ Mesa View Middle School in
Farmington, NM
February 21st- KCHS Early Spring Concert @ BIPAC (Concert at 7pm)
March 8th- District Concert Band (Large Group) @ San Juan College
March 31st- District Jazz Band Festival @ San Juan College
April 21st-22nd- State Band Contest @ V. Sue Cleveland High School in Rio Rancho,
NM
May 11th- KCHS Spring Band Concert (Concert at 7pm)
May 18th- KCHS Graduation

Sectional Schedule
Mornings Sectionals are 7:10am- 7:40am
Afternoons Sectionals are 3:45pm-4:15pm

Start times are when the sectional BEGINS, not when you should arrive! Plan
accordingly. Remember the sectionals ARE graded. If you have a schedule conflict,
let Ms. Stevens know beforehand so we can make arrangements for you to make
the sectional up.
