PEMDAS CREATION RUBRIC

P - Parentheses E - Exponents M - Multiplication D - Division A - Addition S - Subtraction

People often use mnemonics (devices such as patterns of letters, ideas, or associations that
assist in remembering something) to help them remember the order of operations. For example,
the most common mnemonic for PEMDAS is Please, Excuse, My, Dear, Aunt, Sally.

TASK - Individually, come up with your own mnemonic to remember PEMDAS. On the
PEMDAS creation page of your interactive notebook, please include the following:

1) PEMDAS with your corresponding mnemonic (large letters, please)


2) A picture/design/drawing that is related to your mnemonic for PEMDAS.
