LEARNING STRATEGIES IN AN INTERMEDIATE LEVEL IN AN ENGLISH
DIPLOMA COURSE `.

Research Question
How does the implementation of a blended learning strategy develop the oral
production proficiency in intermediate level student from the english Diploma
of the Catholic University of Orient? .

Justification.

General Objective:
Implement a blending learning strategy as an enhancer of oral production
proficiency og English in intermediate students from the English Diploma of
Catholic University of Orient.
Specific Objectives.
-To describe the most influential factors that intervene in the development of
the oral production competence.
-To analyze the oral production through the use of hangout as a strategy of
blended learning.
-To know the students perceptions about blended learning in the oral
production.

Methodology:
Qualitative approach
Type of study: Action Research
Criteria to select participants/ participants features
Student that belong to intermediate level (9 level) in Diploma and lack the time
to practice their oral production competence at home and outside the
classroom.
Ethical issues to protect data (Proper names, consent forms, interaction with
participants)
Informed consent (teachers and students)
Data Collection methods: diagnostic survey, observations of class in the level
9. The class have 7 students.
Data Analysis:
Excel.
Interpretation of perceptions
based in data design an evaluation rubric
