Dear Bob Guse,

This letter is in regards to BCS conference membership. Covert Public Schools is writing
you today with hopes of joining the BCS conference for athletics starting with the 2017-2018
school year. Covert Public Schools has made great progress in rebuilding our athletic program
over the course of the last 3 years. Led by our Athletic Director, Tray Crusciel, Covert now offers
multiple sport programs for every athletic season during the course of the school year. The
following is a list of the athletic programs Covert is now offering:
Fall:
Varsity Boys 8-Man Football
6-8th grade Middle School Boys 8-man Football
Varsity Girls Volleyball
Varsity Boys Soccer
6-8th grade Middle School Boys Soccer
Winter:
Varsity Boys Basketball
Varsity Girls Basketball
6-8th grade Middle School Boys Basketball
Spring:
Varsity Boys Track & Field
Varsity Girls Track & Field
6-8th grade Middle School Girls Soccer
6-8th grade Middle School Girls Track & Field
6-8th grade Middle School Boys Track & Field

This list clearly shows that Covert Public Schools can offer at least two Varsity level sports per
season as well as other programs throughout the year. We also look to add Varsity Wrestling in
2017. We currently do not offer any Sub Varsity athletic teams at the moment but they are always
a possibility in the future. If possible, Covert Public Schools would like to be considered for
membership in the BCS Conference, starting with the 2017-2018 school year. Please consider
this letter as our formal request. Attached below is also our enrollment numbers for grades 3rd-
12th for the upcoming school year.
