*Summary:There are many caves in the caves of Branch Adventure Company and Jungle Lodge,
the resort that I have registered with this speleology tour and owner of the 58,000 acres in which this
cave is located. Caves Branch, named after a river that flows through the property, has cabins,
bungalows, tree houses and a botanical garden.The Belize coral reef runs throughout the country and
down into northern Honduras. It is 186 miles long and is said to be visible from space. (Australia's
only Great Barrier Reef is longer.) In 1996, the Belize Barrier Reef was listed as a World Heritage
Site by UNESCO. The further north, on the coast of Belize you go, the closer the reef is to the land. In
San Pedro, the largest city on Ambergris Caye, which is a quarter mile off the coast. Further south, in
Placencia, which is about 20 miles off the coast.
