    I SPY A REPUTABLE SOURCE?

    What does it take for a website, or news article to pass a reputable source test?
    1. Its NOT Wikipedia; why? Wikipedia is an openly public published
    non-profit organization, "encyclopedia", where guidelines are permitted to
    common sense and a consensus to the community. But dont shy away just
    yet you may find reliable resources from what others have posted in the
    citing section of Wikipedia.
    2. Does it have an author? Dig deeper can you research this
    author? Is he/she qualified to be writing on the subject matter?
    3. What Kind of ending does the website have? rate on these
    below
    .com: commercial
    .gov: government
    .edu: education
    .org: organization and is primarily used by non-profit
    4. Is the publisher trying to sell you something? do you think that
    what youre researching needs to be sold?
