A SUBURBAN BUS TERMINAL

A well-known transportation company operating in central and northern Luzon has decided to construct a mid-
way bus terminal somewhere along the main highway between Manila and Baguio.

The shortest route within the companys franchise is 4 hours travel and it was observed that a passenger should
have at least 15 minutes break for refreshment and relaxation over 3 hours of motoring in order to make
traveling tolerable. This policy will also enable the drivers to exercise extra diligence and care in transporting
passengers which is a legal requirement for public carriers.

The structure is to be of single storey. A smooth slow of incoming and outgoing business is of prime
importance.

Requirements:

1. A canteen with its accessories to accommodate 20 persons in the counter and space for 10 tables of 4
persons per table.

2. Office of the manager-in-charge.

3. Spare parts storage for replacements.

4. Covered parking space for 18 buses.

5. Toilet facilities

6. Gasoline and diesel pumps.

7. Janitors and guards quarters with facilities.
