Warmest greetings from the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP)!

We are delighted to present one of the highlights of our theater performance

season, AMPALAYA, THE MUSICAL; a new musical play for children of all ages
adapted by Maestro Michael Dadap and Patty Yusah from Augie Riveras beloved
and acclaimed childrens book about the legend of Ampalaya (bitter gourd).

Ampalaya the Musical explores issues like embracing and nurturing ones gifts
and strengths because we are unique for who and what we are. Under the direction
of PETAs Dessa Quesada-Palm, this musical features spectacular performances
from actors who sing and dance, while giving life to a variety of lovable characters.
With catchy melodies, colorful costumes and brilliant animation, the show promises
to be a fun and exciting feast for all the senses, and is sure to delight all audiences
and take them back to a happy journey revisiting their childhood days.

The CCP premier of Ampalaya the Musical will be on July 15, 2015, 3:00PM at
the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (CCP Main Theater).

With this in mind, we take pleasure in inviting you to bring your students to
this educational production. This new musical is the perfect experiential learning
activity for students; it is not only entertaining but filled with moral lessons as well.
To give your students a completely enjoyable experience, we are offering a special
package which includes the CCP Museum Tour and Ride-All-You-Can tickets to
