ARTIST STATEMENT
What is an artist statement?
Your artist statement is about facts, a basic introduction to your art; it's not instructions
on what to experience, what to think, how to feel, how to act, or where to stand, and if it
is, you better do a rewrite. Please answer the questions below & then compose your
artist statement in paragraph form. The artist statement should be 3-5 paragraphs
including 3-5 sentences each.
2. How did you choose your logo idea? What was your thought process on your
designs?
4. Explain your symbolism. What does each part signify &/or represent?
6. What tool/technique did you like the best that you used to create your logo?
7. What was the most challenging part about creating a logo from scratch?
9. Were you able to transform your idea into a graphic? Or did your plan change?

I used most of my personality into my logo. It did take very long for me to
come up with my logos design. I am a creative person and making art just shows
my creativity. I dont aspire to anything right now my logo just shows who I am as a
person and I would like to be something unique to me. The shield represents strong
physically and mentally, the wings represent wildlife. Earth represents my love for
the planet. The reason the wing is a metallic color its meant to represent metal. It
is unique and has a lot of meaning behind it.
Making earth was the hardest part I like using the filters and gradients to give
life to my logo. My logo connects TM through science with the space, metals, and
wildlife.
I use filters and gradients. I was able to transform it into a graphic. I used my
favorite colors and other colors that work for the design. I made certain shapes
stand out more than others. I wish I could have found a better filter to make the
wings like they were made out of titanium. The inner part of the shield.
