A general introduction to your work, a body of work, or a specific project.

Your artist statement is about facts, a basic introduction to your art; it's not instructions
on what to experience, what to think, how to feel, how to act, or where to stand, and if it
is, you better do a rewrite. Please answer the questions below & then compose your
artist statement in paragraph form. The artist statement should be 3-5 paragraphs
including 3-5 sentences each.

1. Why do you make art? What inspires you? I make art to help expreice my passion
for firearms. I can do this by adobe illustrater or other art programs or sites. By
making art I can help promte my business or website.

2. How did you choose your logo idea? What was your thought process on your
designs? I choose my Logo by looking at different firearm companies and hunting
companies. I decided on a bullet and shotgun shell for both my logo and tm. I also
choose a name for my logo Lock N load Ammunition.

What does your logo and trademark mean to you?

3. Explain your symbolism. What does each part signify &/or represent? The bullet
and shot gun shell means ammunition. The color around the name and the ammo
is spouse to be the lock part. The spiky parts on the letter, is the deer antlers.

logo and tm is the design. Another thing that is unique about my logo is the
gradient and color. The last thing unique about my logo is the shape of the letters

5. What tool/technique did you like the best that you used to create your logo? The
one tool that I used the most is the Gradient tool. Another tool that I liked is the
square tool it was very useful. The last tool that I used was the direct select tool
another useful tool.

difficult part about making a logo from scratch is trying to find a good design. One
example of this I weather to do a bullet or a gun. I also had a hard time trying to
find a good colors for my logo
7. How does your logo connect to your TM? My logo connects by having some sort of
hunting ammo in the middle. It also connects by having a similar shape and
gradient. The last thing similar with the Two is the shape of the letters.

8. Were you able to transform your idea into a graphic? Or did your plan change? I
was able to transform my idea into a graphic. I did this by adding a bullet in the
center of my logo. I did something similar with TM by adding a Shotgun shell in the
middle.

9. How did you incorporate detail into your design? I incorporated details by adding
different gradients and color. Another detail that I added was the design of the
book around the bullet. The last detail that I add was the shape off the letters

10. How did you incorporate color into your graphic? I incorporated color by
adding gradient to the shotgun shell. Another example is the boxes around the
bullet have gradient. The last color detail is the way the logo name is.

11. How did you include value changes and contrast? I add value and contrast by
adding gradient in the middle of the logo. Another way I added value or contrast is
by having the logo name white. For TM I added a gradient for the background.

12. What is the most successful part of your logo/trademark? The most
successful part of my logo is probably getting idea my on the computer. Another
thing that is successful is the different gradients. The last thing that is successful is

thing is the gradients. The last thing that needs work is the letters.
