St Augustine’s Primary School Bulletin: Monday 12th July

• Reports will be issued today. If parents would like to make an appointment time with you, our open
evening will be on Tuesday 20th July, 3.30 – 5pm.
• We are very lucky to have Duncan Goodhew, the Olympic Swimmer, coming to talk to children
from Year 2 to 6 about aspirations and how he has overcome challenges in his life. We are really
sorry that we cannot offer this assembly to everybody, but if you are on PPA please feel free to
come and listen to him speak. Can all teachers (Yr 2 to 6) please explain to the children who he is
and possibly think of some questions they could ask him.
• Staff End of Term Night Out: We look forward to our staff evening out at the Harvester in Beehive
Lane on Friday 16th July, 7pm. Please see Paul Hatzar for further details.
• If any staff are available to come and help at the Music Concert on Wednesday, 7pm, we would be
very grateful and please contact Paul Hatzar for details.
• Redbridge LGFL website will cease to exist at end of July. Please download any useful resources
you use / need by end of term.
• This week Mrs Brannan, Display Co-ordinator, will be based in the Junior Department. Please fill
in a request in the book Junior Office if you need help preparing displays, putting up displays etc.
