To Whom It May Concern,

Casa Azafrn Community Center
2195 Nolensville Road Eric Jaramillo, is one of the fifteen students enrolled in the Escalera: Taking

conexionamericas.org information about professional careers. I first met him during one of our
afterschool meetings last year and I was immediately impressed with his
analytical skills and enthusiasm.

A first generation college applicant and the son of immigrant parents, Eric has
transformed these obstacles into sources of strength and pride and is now
determined to be the first in his family to graduate from college.

As I consider the types of academic projects and extracurricular activities in

which he has involved himself, from his work in Escalera to his active
participation in ACE Mentors. I am genuinely impressed by his motivation and
leadership.

Without a doubt, Eric is one of the strongest students I have had the pleasure
of working with at John Overton High School. He attends our weekly meetings
regularly and is always ready to offer valuable and insightful comments during
our group discussions and community events.

I am happy to amplify on any details if you wish.
